Plans and Rates: Couples Counseling
30 Minute Phone Consultation:
$25 Deposit (applied to assessment)
Goal is to assess if the couple and counselor are a good fit. Dr. Barron will inquire about a brief synopsis of what brings the couple to counseling and he will discuss and answer any questions about the process.
In-Person Assessment/First Session:
$350 (90 Minute Session)
First session to assess strengths and challenges of the couple, family of origin, breaches in attachment, and development of goals and treatment plan.
Individual Counseling Sessions:
$200 (50 Minute Session – Weekday)
$300 (50 Minute Session – Saturday)
Comprehensive 90 Day Program
$2000 (90 Days)
– Assessment
-Therapy Sessions (every 2 weeks)
-Couples Workbook
Pay Per Session
$325 (75 Minute Session)
Terms
Reimbursement
Reimbursement for partially used packages must be asked for in writing and reimbursement is subject to the “pay per session rate” of those sessions used.
Cash, Check, or Zelle
*Cash, Check, or Zelle is accepted. Credit Cards are subject to a 3.5% additional charge.
Scheduling /Rescheduling
All Sessions are scheduled within 24 hours of program purchase. 24 hour notice is necessary to reschedule. Sessions can be rescheduled during the same week or the week after (if available), otherwise you will be seen during your next scheduled session.
Insurance
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services. Although I am out of network for insurance, my biller will submit claims for your reimbursement to your insurance company.
I would recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
• Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
• Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
• Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
• Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
Payment
I accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment. I also accept payment via PayPal and you can pay directly on my site on this page.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
